All of us find it hard to forgive sometimes. How can I help you forgive someone who has hurt you?

I think it is easier to forgive someone if you feel that that person feels regret over their actions. This allows you to take on the role of the bigger person, and gives you a job.. helping the person who wronged you relieve their guilt by forgiving them. In the end both parties are helped by forgiveness, and the wronged is able to regain some of the pride lost during the injury.
If you point out that it in this way it is in someone's best interest to be the forgiver, it helps them see that forgiveness puts them back in control of the situation. They are no longer a victim, they are in the driver's seat. In this way you can help others forgive. Once they have started down the path, they will see the other, more selfless benefits of forgiveness as well.
Love the blog. Cant wait to read it all the time! Love you.
